Jesse dedicated himself to a noble career in construction, working with the esteemed Labor Local 559. He spent his life embodying the values of hard work, dedication, and commitment to his community.
He was also passionate about fishing—a pastime that allowed him to appreciate the tranquility of nature and the simple pleasures of life. Known for his genuine love of conversation, Jesse never met a stranger and was always eager to share stories and wisdom with those fortunate enough to cross his path.
Jesse's life was enriched by the bonds of family and friendship. He is lovingly survived by his siblings: his sisters, Lucinda Willis, Ada Willis, and Zeola (Bruce) Moore, all of Alpine, Alabama; and his brother, Robert (Debra) Willis, of Talladega, Alabama; his sisters-in-law, Olivia Willis of Talladega, Alabama and Mary Jane Garrett of Alpine, Alabama. Jesse's memory will also be cherished by a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.
Jesse Willis, a cherished member of the Alpine, Alabama community, departed this life on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the age of 73.
