Obituary For Kenneth Jones

Graveside services for Kenneth Jones, 54, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at the funeral home.

Mr. Kenneth Jones was born on September 23, 1966, the parentage of Louise Jones and Nathaniel Cook in Talladega, Alabama.

Mr. Jones attended school in Talladega and graduated from Talladega High School. He was formerly employed by New South Express in Lincoln before his health began to fail. Kenneth and the former Margaret Smiley were united in holy matrimony on March 8, 2016, at to this union three children were born.

On Saturday, December 19, 2020, Mr. Jones departed this life at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Jones; his father, Nathaniel Cook; and a son, Quadarius Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Margaret Jones; two sons, Quadrius Jones and Kenneth Jones; one daughter, Shacara Reynolds; seven grandchildren; a brother, Roosevelth Jones; two sisters, Edith J. (Calvin) Robinson and Mary Jo Kelley; two special brothers, Bobby Cook and Michael Cook; four sisters-in-law, Mary (Willie) Garrett, Audrey (Lewis) Barclay, Felicia Smiley and Henrietta (John) Lawler; one brother-in-law, Tyrell Smiley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
