TO the Family of Mrs. GERALDINE CLAY-I extend my unconditional condolences. We were life long friends from Tennessee to our new homes with our children and grands. We spoke, we shared old memories, we laughed wished each other GOD'S SPEED at our conversations' end. I will miss you however, I know we will see each other again. Mrs. Lessie Wilson and Family...
Hello Mrs. Geraldine and family, I have been knowing the Clay family all my life and I would like to say God be with your family from the Malone Family. Love Always Bret and Beverly Malone & Family!
My husband and I were privileged to get to know Ms Geraldine for the last few years of her life and during those few years she was not short on wit, common sense or humor. I will cherish the many times we visited and sat on the porch together enjoying the sights and sounds of the neighborhood and waving/speaking to neighbors as they passed by. One of my most cherished memories of her is how much she loved to laugh. I had asked FB friends to wish her a happy 105th birthday. The post got over 200 views One such person wishing her hbd added,"you don't look a day over 104". I read the FB posts to her and when I got to that particular post she broke out laughing and laughing. We went on talking about other things and she, referring back to the post said, "but you know I don't look a day over 104!" and we both broke out laughing all over again. She was a genuine soul, also kind and thinking of others. She sent a get well card to my sister who was hospitalized although she had never met her in person. I think God broke the mold on Ms Geraldine. There will never be another quite like her which makes me so very grateful for having spent as much time with her as I did. My deep heartfelt condolences to all the family. Her life left a lasting legacy that you all can cherish. From Aberdeen MD neighbors, Kathy and Clarence Butler
