I, Judy Virginia Posey, was born March 5, 1954 in Crockett County, Tennessee to Gearldine Procks and Lee M. Posey. I took my flight to be with my Saviour on May 14, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Preceding me in death were my parents: Gearldine Procks and Lee M. Posey; grandmother, Julie Fisher; a sister, Alice S. Gibson.
I expressed lots of love for those who will cherish my memory: a daughter, Takeisha Wellington (Chris), one grandson, Christopher Wellington, Jr., one granddaughter, Alexiya Wellington; two brothers: Fentress W. Posey, Sr. of San Antonio, TX and Sammie L. Posey of Maury City, TN; a sister, Lula Posey of Minneapolis, MN; I also leave to cherish my memories: nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
I am truely sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. May God comfort and strengthen you all. Love Angela Lucy Jones and Family
Ms.Judy was a dedicated member of the Northwest TN Economic Development Council Board of Directors for a few years. Additionally she was a very dedicated volunteer to the Crockett County Service Center. She was always very dependable and always pleasant to work with. We were saddened to hear of her passing. I will certainly miss her smiling face. Prayers are extended to her family. Cheryl Oglesby-Townes NWTEDC
We're going to miss Judy. She was a servant to everyone that needed her. I'm sure some people didn't pay her and some did. I know for sure she didn't mind working and helping where there was need. RIP Judy Love you!
I have been knowing Judy all her life. And her family all my life, her sister Alice Sue and I were grammar school on through high school friends. Judy and my mom were over the Sunshine Band in our local church for a long time. She gave the children their Easter speech each year until the pandemic. She always greeted you with a smile. So hard to believe she is gone. May The Lord comfort and keep her child Keisha and grandson. She was a tremendous help where ever needed. God bless you family! Marva Dupree
