Dear Family: (Ronnie Jackson-Jones, Joe Jones, Calvin Jackson, Dalton Jackson, LaKesha Glynn, Kayla Nash, Kaitlyn Mann, Kyrah Glynn, Kylan Glynn, and Shantay Jackson-Hicklen, and Mr. Joe Jackson)

I want each of you to know how much it meant to me that you looked after my dear niece, Olivia Norman. After her mother passed, you made time to stop by, sit with her, and see how she was doing. You kept showing up for her until she went home to be with the Lord in early November. It brings me comfort to know that, in those difficult days, Olivia could count on her family.

Dalton, I want to give you a special thank-you for the time and loving care you gave your aunt. Joe, thank you for being there alongside Ronnie and helping look after Olivia. To each of you, thank you for making room in your own lives to be there for her. Every visit mattered.

Olivia was a beautiful soul, and I am going to miss her. We are a very small family, and I am so grateful for the way we share what we have to give, especially our time, our love, and our kindness. The way you cared for Olivia is something I will always remember and treasure.

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

May the Lord bless each of you and give our family comfort as we remember Olivia together.

With all my love and gratitude, Uncle Fred sends.

In Loving Memory of My Niece, Olivia Earlene Norman Halls, Tennessee

My heart is heavy as I share that my dear niece, Olivia Earlene Norman, has gone home to be with the Lord. To our family and everyone who loved her, my heart is with you. I thank God for the time Olivia and I had together and for the conversations we shared. I'll miss hearing her voice and listening to what she had to say.

Olivia had a heart of gold. I saw it in the way she cared for her mother, my dear sister Ardia Coleman, and in the way she looked after other members of our family. For years, she drove her mama wherever she needed to go, kept her company, and saw to it that she was cared for in sickness and in health. When her mama was in the hospital, Olivia stayed by her side right up to the end. As her uncle and as Ardia's brother, it meant more to me than I ever told her to see how faithfully she loved her mama. She was a superstar in my book, and our family has lost another great soldier.

Olivia fought a good fight, and now the Master has called her home. It hurts to say goodbye, but I take comfort in believing that she's with her mama again and that all her troubles are over. We'll miss her leadership and her wise counsel. May the Lord hold our family close and help us carry on what Olivia taught us by example. Make the time. Show up. Stay close when someone needs you. That's how Olivia loved her family.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)

Rest peacefully, my dear Olivia. To God be the glory.

With love, Uncle Fred sends.
