Barbara Garrett, 74 of Garner, NC passed on February 24, 2019 at Pruitt Health in Raleigh, NC.
She leaves behind: her husband, Tony Davenport; her children, Sylvanda Judd of Raleigh, NC (four children and six grandchildren), Thelma Ledbetter of Fuquay - Varina, NC (two children, three grandchildren), Helen Judd of Fuquay - Varina, NC (two children and three grandchildren), Barbara (Leon) Ray of Raleigh, NC (two children), Patrice Garrett of Lillington, NC (four children, ten grandchildren), Billy Garrett of Raleigh, NC (one child, two grandchildren), and Thomas Garrett of Raleigh, NC (one child); her sisters Georgia (Charles) Harrington of New Hill, NC, Bertice Parks of Holly Springs, NC, Lonnie Judd of Erwin, NC, and Johnnie Judd of Angier, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

THE BIBLE AT PS. 86:17 SAYS OF JEHOVAH THAT HE IS OUR 'HELPER AND COMFORTER. WE ARE ALSO TOLD THAT HE COMFORTS US IN ALL OUR DISTRESSES. DEATH OF A LOVED ONE IS SUCH A TIME OF DISTRESS. YET HE COMFORTS US AND GIVES HOPE. THAT COMFORT COMES BY MEANS OF HIS WRITTEN WORD THE BILBLE AND THROUGH PRAYER. BY MEANS OF PRAYER WE CAN PETITION FOR THE STRENGTH TO COPE SUCCESSFULLY WITH THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE AND BE CONFIDENT HE WILL DO AS WE ASK OF HIM. (JOHN 5:14, PHIL 4:13) THEN HE PROVIDES THE PROSPECT OF SEEING OUR DEAD LOVED ONE AGAIN BY MEANS OF THE RESURRECTION. THERE ARE AT LEAST NINE ACCOUNTS OF INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE RESTORED TO LIFE. THESE ACCOUNTS WHERE PUT IN THE BIBLE FOR OUR COMFORT. YES THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT KNOWS OF YOUR PAIN AND IS READY TO BE A HELP AT THIS TIME. PLEASE AVAIL YOURSELF OF THIS HELP. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. ( ACTS 24:15)
