I am a friend who first met Bernice in Pittsburgh, PA. We reconnected several years ago, and began spending time together. My heart was broken when my daughter called with the news of her passing.

May her sons and the family experience God' Grace, Strength, Comfort, and Love as they walk through the valley. Please know I will continue praying for you. Shirley & LaToya Woods

Bernice was a beautiful, kind soul who loved the Lord. I enjoyed attending church with her and her genuine concern for others. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. We had not seen Bernice in years until recently, in March at my aunt Doris' birthday dinner. We count it all joy to have had the opportunity to see and talk with her. We pray that all who loved Bernice will be comforted in this delicate time.

We loved her so much. She brought joy and peace. Forever in our hearts. We truly loved her but God loved her best. Another rose picked from His garden.
