Beverly “Ollie” Johnson, the beloved daughter of Leroy and Beverly Johnson, was born on January 13, 1972, in Raleigh, NC. She received her education through the Harnett County Public School System and was proud graduate of Harnett Central High School.
At and early age, Ollie professed her faith in Jesus Christ and became a devoted member of the Church of God For All People under the leadership of Pastor Patricia Judd. She faithfully served in the church choir, where her spirit and voice uplifted many.
Ollie was employed at Walmart in the Garden Center, where she worked diligently until her health began to decline. Known for her generous spirit, and pleasant personality. She was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her Christian life was as beautiful and vibrant as the flowers she adored, and her influence will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
On Thursday, September 4, 2025, Ollie peacefully departed this life at UNC Heart and Vascular Hospital. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Professor Johnson and Susie Dewar.
Her beautiful legacy will continue to be cherished by her loving children: Donteviest Lesane, Jacobe Lesane, Jobe Lesane (Montash'a) Diamond Lesane (Deion), and Danielle Lesane.
She is also survived by three devoted siblings: Susan Ogburn, Maggie Johnson, and Leroy Johnson, Jr.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to mourn her passing, including a very special nephew, Demetrius Dewar (affectionately known as “Uggie”).
Her presence, kindness, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
