A GIFT TO SO MANY
From the moment Brandon Travon Bullard, Jr., was born on August 26, 2009, in Raleigh, North Carolina, he was a gift from God—a light and a joy to everyone who knew him.
Brandon was the beloved son of Monay Curry and Brandon Bullard, Sr., lovingly embraced by Rajah Bell and Shaquila Bullard as their own, and a caring brother to Brayden, Rahmir, Royalty, and Aliana.
He was surrounded by the love of his grandparents, Theralsinna Curry-Corbin, Elbert Corbin, Jr., Lora Ann Bullard, and the late Prince Alexander Bullard, Jr., along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family from New Jersey and Florida, and countless friends.
FAITH & FOUNDATION
At an early age, Brandon embraced Jesus Christ and found joy in serving others. Whether serving in the parking lot at church, connecting with youth ministry, or visiting different church communities, his faith showed in the way he loved, cared for people, and how he lived each day. PURPOSE & PROMISE
Brandon carried vision, ambition, and purpose beyond his years. He was a bright and determined student who challenged himself through Honors and AP courses as he attended Athens Drive Magnet High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. He planned to attend North Carolina A & T State University and pursue Civil Engineering.
LEADERSHIP & INFLUENCE
As a Town of Cary Youth Leader, Brandon was admired for his leadership, authenticity, and ability to connect with others. His life left a lasting impact on many hearts. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and welcomed. Because of him, life felt brighter.
PASSIONS & PERSONALITY
Brandon enjoyed football, track, wrestling, and soccer throughout his youth. His first sport was soccer with the City of Cary league. He later participated in football, track, and wrestling at Harrison Middle School in Greensboro, North Carolina, and went on to play football at Clayton High School in Clayton, North Carolina. Sports helped shape his competitive spirit, teamwork, and determination.
Outside of sports, Brandon enjoyed gaming, barbering, and fashion. He often cut hair for family and friends, showing creativity in everything, he did. Brandon valued responsibility and a strong work ethic. Most recently, he worked at Burrito Shack, where he developed his customer service skills.
A TIME TO WEEP & A TIME TO HEAL
Jesus said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” In this season of deep sorrow, we hold tightly to His words.
We will miss Brandon in the quiet moments, in the laughter that lingers, and in the spaces where we long for him to be best. Yet the love he shared, the memories he created, and the impact he made remain with us.
We will continue to carry Brandon in our hearts forever loved, remembered, and never forgotten.

I met Brandon this past fall through Youth Leadership Cary and the ACE engineering program. We were in different ACE groups, but we spoke at the Cary Leadership graduation while we ate cake at Downtown Cary Park and were excited about the possibility of working on the same engineering team this fall. He was full of great ideas and ambition. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a great person and a bright light. The world is dimmer without him. He is missed.
