Kelvin Henderson sent Beautiful Dreams for Calvin J. King Sr. - May 29, 2025
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of meeting Calvin at Petsmart. I work at Banfield in petsmart and have talked to Calvin for the last 15 years. I will miss his smile and greeting in the morning.
On behalf of my entire family I would like to send condolences to the King family. Calvin was a very nice and caring person. He worked with my late dad George Chin at British American Insurance company in Guyana. He also would collect me from school sometimes. The last fond memory was when he attended my wedding in New York. He will be greatly missed but he is now at peace in the arms of our Lord. Blessings to his family.

Uncle Calvin may not have been a blood relative, but he was family in the truest sense. His friendship with my dad spanned over 60 years, and he became a beloved figure in our lives. I'll always cherish the memories of taking piano lessons across the street from his house, while he and Dad would catch up. Those moments were more than just lessons - they were a chance to see the special bond between them. Our last adventure together on the Italian cruise was unforgettable. We bonded over our shared love of cooking, and our conversations flowed as effortlessly as a perfectly seasoned dish. Even though we may not have been related by blood, Uncle Calvin's presence in our lives was a gift. I'll miss him dearly, but I'm grateful for the time we had together. Rest in peace, dear Uncle Calvin. My heartfelt condolences to Joy and the entire family. From Laverne and family 🙏🏾😇💕
