Obituary For Charles Cofield
Charles Ronnell Cofield, known by his family and friends as Ronnell, was born on September 30, 1959, to Ernestine Cofield and the late Charles Leonard Cofield, departed this life's journey on April 14, 2026, at his home in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
Charles received his education in the Wake County Public School System. He worked for Triangle Brick Company until his health began to fail.
Along life's journey he became father, grandfather and great grandfather. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Randell Paige of Pittsboro, NC, Gregory Judd of Cameron, NC and Tanisha Ray of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Kyree, Arianna Judd, Jaylon, Montrell and Shamar Ray; great grandchildren, Promise, Kaylo and Kalani.
Charles also leaves to cherish his legacy and memories his mother, Ernestine Cofield of the home; six sisters, Annette Mann of the home, Charlene Cofield of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Cynthia Harris of Angier, NC, Tina Cofield of Holly Springs, NC, Annie Childress of Angier, NC and Sylvia Cofield of Fuquay-Varina, NC. one brother; Timothy Farrington of Knightdale, NC; one uncle; James R. βRickyβ Cofield; four aunts; Bernice Harris of Angier, NC, Louise McCullers, Sarah Ward and Phyllis Norris (Harold) all of Holly Springs, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Three very special friends, Aaron Burt, Allen Wade and James Cofield (cousin/special friend).
Public viewing: 1:00 - 6:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Visitation: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Holly Springs, NC 27540.
Funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 208 Grigsby Avenue in Holly Springs, NC 27540.
Burial: Holly Springs Town Cemetery, 451 W. Earp Street in Holly Springs, NC 27540.
