David H. Schneider, 61, of Durham, NC passed on August 3, 2023 at Southpoint Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Durham, NC. David was born in Buffalo, NY, the youngest of five children, on August 8, 1961 to the late John H. and Helen Schneider.

David honorably served our country as a machinist mate in the US Navy. He was an avid music enthusiast, especially of 1970s and 1980s rock. He was a life long Buffalo Bills football fan and enjoyed nothing as much as watching his team play.

David leaves behind his three beloved children: son Ian (Raechel Brooks), daughter Erinn, and son Colin. David is also survived by his sister, Sharon (Ron) Ackendorf of Westfield, NY, sister, Darlene (Rick) Arber of Castle Pines, CO and brother Paul Schneider of Saginaw, MI. His brother, Mark Schneider of Saginaw, MI preceded him in death. David also has many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A service to honor David's life will be held at Trice Funeral Home in Fuquay Varina, NC on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 1 pm.
