Doris P. Simmons, 71 passed on March 10, 2020 at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh, NC. She leaves to cherish her memories 3 wonderful and loving sons and 3 daughter-in-laws. McAuthor "Dale" Parker (Angie); Shelton O'Neal Parker (Jennifer); Gregory Dewayne Parker (Janise); 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Two very important people with more than 100 years of golden friendship - Mrs. Jean Thorpe and Elder Thomas B. Dillard both of Durham, NC. Four brothers, Julius Robinson, Cornell Robinson, Rufus Robinson (Anne); Michael Robinson all of Durham, NC. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, NC.
