Obituary For James Cobb
James Cobb, 98 of Holly Springs, NC passed on August 6, 2021 at Chatham Commons Assisted Living & Memory Care Facility in Cary, NC. He leaves to cherish his legacy: two brothers, Bernard (Dotsey) Cobb and Jessie Cobb; three children, Coleman (Martha) Cobb, Donnie (Marilyn) Cobb, and Lisa (Calvin) Leslie; fourteen grandchildren, Uriah (Teddy), Maurice (Rede), Sonia (Sam), Shaunette, Shauna, Shelly, Coleman Jr., Michael (Jermaine), Lamont, Kristina, Jahmar, Stephen, Calvin Jr. (C.J.), and Kiara; twenty-eight great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Terence (T.J.), Sierra, Marcus, Knena, Barry, John, Maya, Aime, Taron, Noah, Caleb, Isaac, Page, Marion (Juju), Lydia, Leah, Savannah, Paxx, Jiah, Nicholas, Grasyn, Payton, Wave, Michael (Mikey), Zion and Gabriel; ten great-great-grandchildren, Xavier, Matthew, Inoa, Uriyah, Malachai,Savannah, Malachi, Aria, Taryn, and Khloe; and a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends, Anna Clyde Burt, Virgie Robinson, and Brenda Greene.
Vistation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Thursday August 12, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, with no more 10 individuals inside at one time.
Funeral will be held 1:00 pm Friday, August 13, 2021 at St. Mary's Freewill Baptist Church, 9305 Holly Springs Rd in Apex, NC (Rev. Willie Hunter, Jr., Pastor)
Burial: Church Cemetery
MASK are required in order to attend the visitation and funeral service.
