James Avery Stewart Jr. 54, of Harnett County, NC passed at the home on January 30, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Debra Jean McNeill Stewart (Raleigh, NC); three brothers-in law, four sisters-in-law; daughters, Yameka Langley (Charlotte, NC), Tamika Goins (Lillington, NC), and Jasmine Raejean Stewart (Raleigh, NC); sons, SeQuoia A. Stewart (Lillington, NC), Tavarius Goins (Raleigh, NC), and Taquintis Goins (Lillington, NC); grandkids, King Stewart, Kiyah Calvert, Kyree Stewart, and Alivia Stewart; mother, Runell Gilchrist (Stewart) (Apex, NC); brothers, Lonnie E. Fredrick (Holly Springs, NC), Frank McKoy (Columbia, SC), Richard McAllister (Bunnlevel, NC), Robert Wynn Woodbridge, VA), Jamie Lee (Charlotte, NC), Ed Clark (Angier, NC), Jerome McKoy (Fort Riley, KS), Samuel McKoy (Lillington, NC), and Davey Mclean (Lillington, NC); sisters, Lorraine Stewart (Fayetteville, NC) and Aimee Stewart (Apex, NC); nieces, Tiffany McCormick (Dominique), Monique Stewart, Miracle Byrd, and Royal Stewart; great-nieces, Zi-Nya Carvin and Aaryn Stewart; nephews, Aaron Stewart, Mikkel Fontane Stewart, Younikue Stewart, De’Bris Bradsher, Malik Byrd, Kalen Heggie, and Qasim Frederick; great-nephews, Trever Monk, Romeo Stewart, Ro’Meir Stewart, and Aaron Jamal Stewart, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Barbra Campbell (Tommy), Shirley Taylor (Junnie), Lina Alford, Glenda Gilchrist, Uppsie McKoy (William), Lories McMillian, Billy Stewart (Carolyn), Ella Mae Stewart, and Paul Stewart (Doris); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd in Spring Lake, NC with no more than 50 people present.

Due to Covid-19, MASK are required in order to attend the visitation and service.
