Obituary For Khalid K. Fuller
Khalid Kevin Fuller entered this world on October 17, 1995, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents Kevin and Roxanne Fuller. His childhood was marked by a vibrant spirit, attending Roxbury Elementary School in Solon Ohio, and engaging in flag football, while also gracing advertisements and toy boxes as a child model for Little Tikes.
Accompanied by his parents and sister Nyla, Khalid's journey led him through residences in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. He excelled academically and athletically, graduating from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 2014. His prowess in track and field earned him a place in the school's Hall of Fame and secured the title of Indiana track and field high school state champion.
Continuing his academic pursuits, Khalid earned a scholarship to Indiana Tech before transferring to the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration while continuing his track endeavors. After graduation, he moved to North Carolina where his parents currently live.
An adventurer at heart, Khalid explored many destinations across the United States, as well as Puerto Rico, Aruba, Mexico, and South Africa. As an adult, he loved traveling with his girlfriend, Di'Azah Stanback, and lifetime friend Nigel Johnson. Khalid's zest for life extended to his hobbies, including a passion for sneakers, video games, sports, and exotic cars.
He filled the role of Assistant General Manager at Defy Apex in North Carolina.
Endearing to all who crossed his path. Khalid was characterized by his, outgoing nature, charisma, and unwavering determination. Khalid was diagnosed with Renal Medullary Carcinoma in 2022, choosing to keep his health challenges private. Despite his courageous fight, Khalid peacefully transitioned on March 26, 2024, surrounded by his devoted parents, sister, and girlfriend.
Khalid leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by his parents Kevin and Roxanne Fuller; sister Nyla Fuller, brother Brent Fuller (Klia); girlfriend Di'Azah Stanback; grandmothers Polly Stokes and Beverly Fuller; aunts Carmen Clark (Eric) and Natalie Stokes Peters (Mark); uncle Nathan Stokes (Jennifer); nieces Brenna, Krista, Brielle, and Kandence; first cousins Jahi Adams and Zion Stokes, and a multitude of extended family and friends.
The memorial service will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

Deep heartfelt condolences and prayers to Kevin and Roxanne Fuller and family on the transitioning of your dear son Khalid. Ms Polly was very proud and spoke highly of her grandson's success in academics, sports and life endeavours. Years ago she shared with me photos of Khalid and his sister modelling for the toy company she was grinning from ear to ear. Khalid had a youth basketball goal in Ms Polly's garage and my son asked to play on it and he fell in love with the hoop and he asked can he have it and Ms Polly replied with a smile...I'm sorry but no..that's my grandson basketball hoop and even though he's 18 years old it belongs to him Kevin and Roxanne..my family and I will keep you in our prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Rest well Khalid The Andersons

Sending prayers, hugs and much love to Kevin, Roxanne, Nyla, DiAzah and to all his family and friends who loved him. Khalid was like a second son to me and I loved him very much. One of the saddest days is when he and his ( brother - best friend Nigel had to say goodbye when Khalid moved to Indiana. That never stopped their friendship. Roxanne and I and Dorine spent countless hours meeting halfway , dropping them off to visit eachother. The friendship remained strong. I have so many memories but, the ones were always seeing their faces light up when they would see eachother again each and every summer. Roxanne we never did get our ride but , We will all one day meet again in Heaven and Khalid will have that cloud gases and ready. Getting to know Khalid and DiAzah was a joy. The three of them got along so well and the house always exploded with laughter when they visited. Rest for now beautiful Khalid. You may not be here on Earth but, you will live in my heart forever. We are always here for you Roxanne, Kevin , Nyla and DiAzah. Nigel looked at all of you as his family. Love you guys !
