Obituary For Larry Keith Denton

Larry Keith Denton, 69 of Apex, passed away Tuesday at home, surrounded by his family. He fought a brief but horrendous battle against cancer with bravery and spirit. He never gave up. He is survived by his wife Becky, canine baby Minnie, his daughter Tammy Lawrence (Kevin), his son Keith Denton (Denise) and seven grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Andrew and Kami Lawrence and Jolee, Anna and Emma Denton. He is also survived by his brother Lafayette Denton (Lois), his sisters; Betty Pearson (Tom), Violet Allen (Ed) and sister-in-law Joan Denton. Sister-in-laws Mary Stroup (Joe), Linda Hamilton (Tony) and brother-in-law Cliff Holt (Marlene). In addition, many nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors who were with him until the end. Those who were special to him knew it in their heart. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 2:00 pm, at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church located at 1802 Old US 1 (S. Salem Street) Apex, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Transitions LifeCare of Wake County or a charity of your choice.
