God bless you Louie.. Scott A. Harasty, Pittsburgh, PA

Jeanie and Lou were high school sweethearts, I remember how happy they were and how much in love they were. I never expected them to be lifelong sweethearts! They took care of one another with love and had two beautiful children , Michael & Brittany. Jeanie would always say her heart was a flutter when Lou came home from work. They came to Mom and Dads and on Holidays . Lou was such a gentleman w Jeanie . Lou would always smile at his Jean , when she told funny stories. Later Michael married April, and Brittany and Dylan were in the wedding Lou being a gentleman offered , along w Jeanie to come and get me in NC for the wedding. And what a wedding it was!! Lou and Jeanie were joyous over the events and so happy to be with all the sisters. After the wedding they made sure I made it safely home. Two people were never so in love as much as they were. I will miss them forever. Jeanie said " nothing is so special as when your first love, is your last love." Love Aunt Barbara

I was just a young teenage girl when Louis and Jeanie started dating. Many times I would "tag along" with them both when they went places together (they patiently tolerated me as I'm sure they would have rather been alone!). Lou was like a big brother to me, and I always admired how he took care of and doted on my big sis. I have so many precious, happy memories of times I spent with them, one of which was my most favorite: their wedding day so many years ago. Their love story was unique, beautiful, and long-lived— how appropriate they chose the date of February 14th to get married. They were one another's best friend. Brittany and Michael you both have endured such heartache in these profound, sudden losses of your parents. May your hearts mend through the gentle passage of time. Know that you are deeply loved not just by me, but by so many. Aunt Lori

Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
