Mary Hicks-Zanders "Polly" 89 of Bunnlevel, NC passed on June 15, 2022 at Emerald Health in Lillington, NC. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Herbert Hicks of Conyers, GA., Teddy Zanders (Jacqueline) of Albany, N.Y., and Michael Hicks of Jonesboro, GA; nephews, James Wardrick Jr. of Suwanee, GA., Dameon Johnson of Baltimore MD., Anthony Johnson (Ennette) of Philadelphia PA.: special niece, Dorcia Hicks of Bunnlevel N.C.; sister, Beverly Johnson of Baltimore MD.; sister-in-law, Louise Hicks of Bunnlevel N.C.; and a aunt, Cora Odell McKoy of Hempstead N.Y. Also cherishing her memory, grandsons, Quasim Hicks of Atlanta GA and David Hicks of Decatur GA., and Daniel Hicks (Brittany) of Dallas GA.; granddaughter, Tahmineh Zanders of Queens, N.Y.; great-grandsons, David Hicks Jr. and Daniel Hicks Jr.; great-granddaughter, Sumayah Robinson of Atlanta GA and great-niece, Zoe Johnson of Philadelphia PA.
Funeral will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
Burial: Starlight Memorial Gardens in Holly Springs,NC
Masks are required in order to attend the funeral service.
