Sending deep heartfelt condolences to Chuckle, Dorthea, and the rest of the family. Sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Cox or Mrs. Cox as we affectionately called her. Her and Mr. Cox were the second set of parents for many of us in the school district in Wilmington, DE. She was like the second Mom for the students and for us on the football, basketball, and track teams that Mr. Cox coahed at Bayard Middle School. We will cherish the encouragement and support she provided to us. Rest in peace along with your King Charlie. Dear Dr. Cox you took me under your wing when I first came to Philly to teach. You encouraged and allowed me to implement many great things at Longstreth. We had so much fun traveling together as well as buying and trying shoes for one other. Your friendship has meant the world to me and I thank you for that.
