Obituary For Paul Edward Davis Jr
I, Paul Edward Davis, Jr, born July 29, 1970, a beloved, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. I peacefully transitioned from this life into my eternal rest on November 3, 2025, where I am greeted by my parents, Paul Sr and Reegenger Rhem Davis and my brother Clarence.
I attended Lenoir County Public School, is where my life began shaping me into the man in which I became. My love for my career in restoration of my own home improvement business “Paul Davis Restoration Services”, was my lively-hood and enjoyment.
I met the love of my life, Samantha Perkins-Davis, were we wedded on December 4, 2004, and I became a loving husband and father. Together we reared 3 wonderful children, DeLaya, Miranda, and DePaul and my beloved grandson Jaxxon. They brought endless joy and pride into my life.
I can't forget my loving siblings, which I enjoyed. My sisters Thelma Edmondson & Velma Rosenboro (of Kinston, NC). My brothers Thomas Edmondson (Donetta) of Garner, NC & James Davis (Roslyn) of Angier, NC. Whom I know will miss my humor, wisdom, smile, & unwavering love. Know that I have always loved yall.
I also enjoyed many cherished memories with my aunts; Viola Whitfield & Patricia Rhem and uncles: Leo Rhem and Wayne Rhem (Jedon) of Kinston, NC.
The endless days I have spent with my nieces and nephews, I pray that I left an impact in your lives. I leave you memories to always treasure all of God's blessing. Though my earthly presence will be missed, my spirit will continue to guide and comfort you. To all my cousins, keep my humor and strength and never hesitate to lend a helping hand in keeping the family together. That's all I ask! Though my earthly journey has come to an end, my legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know me.
Public Viewing: 1:30 - 5:00 pm Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Visitation: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday, November 10, 2025, at Church of Faith & Deliverance in Kinston, NC.
Funeral will be held 12:00 pm Monday, November 10, 2025, at Church of Faith & Deliverance, 655 Sussex Street in Kinston, NC.
Burial: Greater Sweet Springs Non-Denominational Church Cemetery, 7600 Cass Holt Road in Holly Springs, NC 27540.
