Robert C. Beckwith " Nana Buck", 64 of Raleigh, NC passed on December 4, 2018 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Robert leaves to mourn: his mother, Emma Beckwith, of Raleigh, NC, his wife Velvet, of the home, and his daughter, Casmine, of the home; his brothers, Bobby (Joy) of Angier, NC, and Michael of Fuquay-Varina, NC; sister, Angela Balderas (Pablo) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; uncle, Karl Beckwith, of Holly Springs, NC; very special friends, Charlie Hunter of Harrisburg, PA, and Clyde Poole of Raleigh, NC; a protégé, Arthur Thomas, Jr.; nephews, William Hester,Donnie Beckwith, Shamar Beckwith, Michael Wright, Quental Wright, Derrick Beckwith, Shaun Moses, Jessie Beckwith, and Jerjuan Brooks; nieces, Michelle Beckwith, Jamesha Hinton, Gabrielle Hinton, Jovonia Rivera, Carmell Rivera, Jasmine Jacobs, Shani Ray, and Zeniyah Beckwith; 16 great- nieces; four great-great-nieces; 13 great-nephews; and his church family, along with a host of friends.
Visitation: 12:00 -7:00 pm Friday, December 7, 2018 at Trice Funeral Home
Due to renovations at the home the family will ONLY be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12:00 -2:00 pm.
Wake: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
Funeral will be held 12:30 pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Dear family and friends, Losing a loved one in death is so very hard to deal with. Please accept my deepest sympathy. The Bible promises that very soon death, as well as all the things that cause us pain and suffering, will be a thing of the past. Revelation 21:3-4 "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” What a comforting Scripture. May it give you a measure of comfort and provide hope.
