Rufus Bloomfield, 80 of Apex, NC passed on May 25, 2021 at the home. Rufus leaves to cherish his memories: His lovely wife, Elnora Bloomfield of Apex, N.C.; Two wonderful children, whom he loved dearly, Carmen Crump (Roland) of St. Pete, Fl; Lisa Brown (Terry), of St. Pete, Fl; grandchildren, DeJon Moss, who he had a special relationship, Jalen Brown, Terry Brown Jr; One great grandchild, Darren Moss; Two sisters, Carolyn Evans, Florence Muse (Nathaniel); One brother, Joe Bloomfield (Demeatress). Nephews: Eric Bloomfield; Kevin Evans, Andre Graham; Nieces, Carol Hodges; Joslyn Bloomfield, Jasmine Bloomfield, Venita Brock, Cheryl Heath; Special mother-in-law, Emma Graham, sister-in-law, Mary Arline (Marvin), one aunt, Mildred Brosier, one uncle, David Harrington, along with a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation: 2:00 - 4:00 pm Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Funeral will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, May 30, 2021 at St. Mary's FWB Church, 9305 Holly Springs Road in Apex, NC 27539.

Rufus, you have received your wings. The last time we were together at Diggs Chapel Church we laughed and said that it was like a family reunion for us. Even though we did not see or speak to each other that often we always remembered each other. Rest in Peace.
