Spencer Ketrell Campbell aka “Trell", the beloved son of Ken and Annie Campbell was born February 18, 1979, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Trell received his education through Wake County School System.
Spencer attended Prince Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Zion Church for many years under the leadership of Pastor Cathy Jones and Pastor Brenda Harrington.
Spencer worked several jobs that his health permitted. Spencer was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather.
Spencer was joined in holy matrimony to Shanice Leach on July 27, 2023.
Spencer was preceded in death his grandmothers, Lillie McLaurin and Maggie Carter, grandfather, Spencer Campbell Sr., aunt, Shirley Prince, and special nephew, Khamari Campbell.
Spencer is survived by his wife, Shanice Leach; children, Knadia McNeill (Javan), Jesyln, Spencer Jr., Lillie, and Baby Blossom; granddaughter, Devani McNeill; parents, Ken H. Spencer and Annie Lois Campbell; two sisters, Herminia Newton “Peaches” (Dwayne) and Tiffani Campbell; bonus brother, Jessie Jernigan; bonus sisters, Beth “Sugar”, Joy, and Jammie; aunt, Mary Helen McNeil (Johnnie); father-in-law; Mark Leach Sr., sisters-in-law, Bernice McCallum; Raquel Atwater and Marqual Henrichon; brothers-in-law; Mark Leach Jr., and Noah Leach; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public Viewing: 1:00 - 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Trice Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at St. Augusta Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Bridge Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Family will be accepting visitors between the hours of 11:30 am - 9:30 pm at 1923 Heisser Lane in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
