Susan Murray of Gainesville, FL, passed away peacefully on January 2nd, 2024. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and spent the majority of her life in Gainesville, FL, where she cultivated meaningful connections and friendships.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Albert W. and Josephine Murray as well as her partner of 30 years. She is survived by her two siblings, a daughter, a step-son, and other extended family members.

In 2010, Susan underwent a life-changing liver transplant and embraced the opportunity for a second chance at life. She faced this challenge with courage and determination, making the most of the precious time she was granted.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held at a later date to honor and remember the impact she had on the lives of those around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be conveyed through donations to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) in Susan's honor. Contributions can be made online to support the organization's mission of facilitating organ transplants and saving lives.
