William Penner, 52 of 10 Blalock Drive in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 entered into eternal rest after a courageous battle with Kidney Disease on Tuesday February 13,2018. Born in Utica NY on May 24, 1965. The Son of the late Dennis and Janice Penner. He was raised in New Hartford and educated in local schools. He relocated to North Carolina in August 1996. He was and skilled handy man and craftsman. master of all trades. he was self employed as a contractor for over 20 years. He loved to work with his hands and would tinker with anything mechanical. he especially enjoyed building dirt bikes for his son and watching him ride. He was a lover of many things. he loved his country, spending 13 years as an Army Reservist. he shared a deep love for his family and enjoyed many good times especially Camp parties and attending concerts with his daughters, passing down his love of music. He also enjoyed watching his son play football 'LOVE YOU MAN' He has left us with many wonderful memories. He was the worlds greatest procrastinator - late for everything. His life long passion was hockey. especially the New York Rangers. he played locally until his illness. #99. He leaves behind his beloved wife Susan, who he shared a 24 year bond with. His daughter and son in law Karina and Justin Turner, Daughter Shyanne Penner and Sam Brown, Son Jacob Penner. all of Fuquay Varinia NC. He also leaves behind a Granddaughter Kya Lexi Turner his Pink Floyd head banging princess. Other family members include his 'mom' Bernadette Marchefka Penner of Remsen NY. A Brother, Mark Penner of Blossvale NY, a Sister Lisa Penner of Oriskany NY, Step brother Joseph Marchefka of Remsen. Additional family include Mother in Law Susan Cavoly of Floyd NY, Sister and Brother in Law Mark and Raina Hoage of Whitesboro NY, Jennifer Lazarek of Whitesboro NY, and Steven Lazarek, Floyd NY, Shay and Danielle of Forestport, Raymond and Sherri , Aunt Debbi Stark of Port Richey FL, Aunt Barbara & Uncle Jackie of Marcy NY. He leaves behind Several loved Cousins, nieces and nephews and several life long childhood friends. He is preceded in Death by Father Dennis, Mother Janice, Grandparents William and Helen Penner, and his Aunt (Godmother) Kathleen Penner Hoover.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday February 16, 2018 at The Woman's Club in Fuquay, 602 North Ennis St at 4 pm. Another Celebration of Life will be Held in NY in August 2018 at the convenience of the family.

The Family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the Raleigh Access Dialysis Center, EMTs, and everyone who tried to save him. we thank you for your compassion and caring of William during his illness. 'Shine Bright you crazy Diamond' 'ok, love you, Bye'
