Obituary For Willie J. Lassiter
Willie Lassiter Jr., was born on January 13, 1988, to the union of Willie and Brenda Lassiter. He departed this life on the evening of June 3, 2025 at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center. He was widely known as an introvert, however, like his mother, he often had moments where he was the life of the party. In some moments he would suddenly say something unexpected that would make everyone roar with laughter bringing levity and joy to the room. He was also an avid animal lover and family man.
He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Lassiter and leaves the following to cherish his memory: Father, Willie Lassiter of Greenville, NC;a longtime companion, Ronda Davis of Rochester NY; Aunts; Dianne Lassiter (John) of Greenville, NC, Mary Helen Lassiter (Tony) of Benson NC , Mozelle Young (Ezekiel), Rozelle Baskerville of Angier NC, Cynthia Plummer of Rochester NY, 2 Great Aunts; Elaine McClain (Jimmy), Luretta Jones, Uncles; Sylvester Massey (Mary) , Sammy Lassiter (Kathy), Siblings; Clara Davis of Charlotte, NC, John Davis of Raleigh NC, Timothy Davis of Rochester NY, Louise Judd (Daryl) of Erwin NC, Odessa Davis of Coats NC, Levance Mc Eachin (Anne) of Angier NC, Tommy Davis (Mona) of Fuquay-Varina NC, Brennella Davis of Erwin NC, James Davis of Rochester NY, Lisa Davis of Coats NC, Lorenzo Davis of Erwin NC, Anthony Davis (Shay) of Rochester NY, Danielle Davis of Raleigh NC, Bonta Martin (Mike) of Angier NC, Best friend / cousin, TJ Sanders in addition to a great host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public Viewing: 1:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
The family will be receiving family and friends at 5320 Titan Roberts Road in Erwin, NC 28839 starting Saturday, June 7, 2025. Please be mindful of the family’s request.
