Dad, I hated to say goodbye, but God said it was time for you to come home. We have ran a good race for many years even when no one else had a clue what was going on. I knew that this day would come but not so soon. Tears come an go every time you come across my mind.You taught me to always be strong even when I was weak. I ask myself why did you leave me? Why? Not a day went by without me making sure that you were good. We laughed, and put a smile on each face every morning. You never lost Faith......most humble man I ever knew. We prepared for your final goodbye 6 months ago when there was nothing else that could be done. I promise you that I would take care of you, to not worry. Get your rest, forever in my heart. Talk about an UpRight Man, Mr. Rogers, was It. Never seen him break camp for Any reason. Take your Well deserved rest, Sir, you've EARNED It. Missing him is indescribable. Mr Willie has been a fixture in my life longer than I can even remember. He'll live on forever in a special corner of my heart with my own daddy; together, they are most certainly wreaking havoc up in Heaven by now. His hardworking hands have been put to rest here on earth & now he gets to enjoy the fruits of his lifetime of labor. I have no doubt that his crown in Glory is quite heavy, laden with many jewels.

Sad to hear one of my and my dad's buddy are gone.I remember Mr Rogers coming by my dad's store with a truck full of metal on the way to sale it.Mr Rogers and my dad would go back and forth on work and metal.The Good Old days.May GOD send His Angels of comfort to Jerry and Family.Rest in Heaven Mr Rogers.The Hood Family
