Obituary For Alice Ceola Brown Dale

Mrs. Alice Ceola Brown Dale was born July 18, 1925 to the late Mrs. Aletha Williams Brown and the late Mr. Roger Vernon Brown in Eldorendo, Decatur County, GA. She attended public school in Decatur, County. At an early age, she joined the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Eldorendo, GA. She later joined the Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Bainbridge, GA. During her womanhood, she met and married Mr. John Henry Dale. She was employed by the Greene Poultry Company for many years. Her husband preceded her in death.

In 2002, Alice moved to Thomaston, GA and live with her son and daughter-in-law, John and Youshabel Dale, until her death. She joined the Thomaston, Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was a faithful member and active in the church service as long as her health allowed. During her leisure time, she enjoyed reading her bible, working with her flowers, gardening, canning preserves and shopping. She was energetic and enjoyed doing activities that kept her active. Alice was preceded in death by one daughter, Constance Steele; two sisters, Mary Lee Carter and Irene Hammond and two brothers, K. C. Brown and Jessie Brown. On Wednesday, December 25, 2019, her name was called, and she entered into rest. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory five children, Mrs. Alice Virginia (Errol) Ramjohn of Las Vegas, NV, Mrs. Gwendolyn Louise Steele of Allentown, PA, Mr. Willie Frank Dale of Thomasville, GA, Mrs. Cynthia Mc Nair of Irvington, NJ, and Elder John Henry (Youshabel) Dale, Jr. of Thomaston, GA; nine grandchildren ; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service were held Friday, January 3,2020 1:00 P.M. Thomaston-Seventh-Day Adventist Church Interment Southview Cemetery
