Obituary For Jim Henry Holloway ,Jr.

Mr. Jim Henry Holloway Jr. was born on June 19, 1945 to the late Mrs. Meade F. Parks and the late Deacon Jim Holloway, Sr. in Molena, Pike County, GA. He attended public school in the Pike County School System. At an early age, he joined the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. As a young man, he worked several jobs, including on a Turkey Farm, Woodbury Box Company, and Thomaston Mills. He showed an interest in cars. He began a love with automobiles and became a Master mechanic. He took great pride in his passion for fixing automobiles and helping others in any way he could. Working on cars was his passion and watching wrestling was one of his favorite TV shows. Later in life, he moved to Columbus, Ohio. He was employed by Big Bear and was a loyal and faithful employee. He retired after many years of service. He was a very loving and caring individual. He loved people and was always willing to help others. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Randolph Holloway, Ulysses Holloway and Dave Holloway. On Friday, May 1, 2020, the Lord called his son home from labor to reward terminating a life span of seventy-four years. It saddened our hearts to see him go, but we know he is at rest NOW. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mrs. Sarah Hudson of Columbus, OH; seven children, Mrs. Valerie (Timmy) Lamar of Molena, GA, Mr. Willie (Erma) Holloway of Valley, AL, Ms. Yvonne Holloway of Moultrie, GA, Cynthia Worthy of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Marlin M. Holloway, Mr. Preston B. Holloway and Mr. Reginald M. Holloway all of Columbus, OH; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Harper of Thomaston, GA, Ms. Geneva Cook of Atlanta, GA, and Mrs. Mary Ann (Anthony) Robinson of College Park, GA; one brother, Mr. James Holloway of Zebulon, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends whom all will miss his love and presence dearly. Interment Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery
