Obituary For Mrs. Martha Mae Walker

Martha Mae Walker was born August 30, 1938, to Hardy and Eliza Pearl Richardson. Martha met and married Johnny Edward Walker on July 29, 1962. They lived in Thomaston and raised 7 children together. She worked for over 20 years at Martha Mills where she retired to spend more time with her family. You could always find her enjoying outdoors on her porch, welcoming visitors to catch up, reminisce, and have a laugh. She loved to call and check on family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand when she could. She loved a celebration and always enjoyed travel with her family.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, and sons James and Terryance. She is survived by children Dianne (Carl) Jones, Donald Walker, Janice (Chris) Woodall, Carla Walker, Johnny Walker Jr. Her grandchildren Treese Jones, Robert (Kisha) Walker, Kereth (Alex) Jones, Taurean Harris, Nicholas Rains, Kaye Trice, Dasha (Myron) Walker, Kerleisha Jones, Breona Burns, Dominic Mathis, Johnny Edward III, Daunte Walker, Emily Walker, Vonshae (E) Clowers, Christopher Woodall, Christia Ross, Clinton Woodall, Victor Woodall. Nineteen great-grandkids, sisters-in-law Shirley (Charlie) Richardson, Joanne (Billy) McKinney, Betty (Bud) West, brother-in-law, Cecil Walker, a host of nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends
