Obituary Ms. Barbara Ann Rouseau was born December 26,1957 to the late Mrs. Eunice Mae Cherry and the late Mr. Benny Rouseau in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. At an early age, she confessed Christ and joined the Pine Chapel Baptist Church. She attended public school in the Thomaston School System. She attended Drake High School and later earned her GED at Flint River Technical School. Barbara was a long time employee of the Riverside Nursing Home. She attended school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved her job, the patients and her co-workers. She was a faithful and dedicated employee. She was the mother of two daughters. She instilled in them the importance of education, good work ethics and having a relationship with Jesus Christ. She was their example. She loved her family, but more importantly, she prepared them for this so their faith would be strong. She was a faithful and active member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a past church announcer. During her leisure time, she enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin children Sharon Middlebrooks and Daron Middlebrooks; and a sister, Annette Cherry. On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, the Lord looked down and saw his daughter in distress. He whispered her name and told her that everything was now ready. She answered the call and went home to rest. She will be greatly missed by her family, church family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Ms. Zsrona Calhoun and Sheniqua Calhoun both of Thomaston, GA; two sisters, Mrs. Bennie Lou (Ronnie) Jordan of Thomaston, GA and Ms. Mary McCraney of Detroit, MI; seven brothers, Mr. James (Dorothy) McCraney, Mr. Johnny McCraney, Mr. Roy Rouseau, Mr. Ross Rouseau, and Mr. Tommy (Nancy) Rouseau all of Thomaston, GA, Mr. Bobby McCraney of Birmingham, AL and Mr. David McCraney of Jackson, TN; two devoted friends, Ms. Sherbra (Bobby) Banks of Barnesville, GA and Ms. Dorothy McLean of Thomaston, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service were held Monday, November 11, 2019 11:00 A.M. Pine Chapel Baptist Church Interment Church Cemetery
