Chad and Susanna Greer sent Precious Heart Bouquet for Alonzo O'neil Harris - October 25, 2023
Dear Jan, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Alonzo. May the love you shared and the memories you made together be a comfort to you now and always. I know you will miss him so. love, Susanna
Alonzo was originally from Washington, D.C. My sister and he, were great friends as teenagers. We lived in the same neighborhood when his family resided on 14th Street N. E.
Alonzo was smart, intelligent, articulate, wise and always meticulously dressed. He was adored by all the girls in the community. I remember when he relocated to Georgia.
I learned of his death just today... December 8, 2024. Thoughts of him caused me to google his name out of curiosity only to discover his demise. Alonzo was admired and loved by countless people in the Washington, D.C. community. Many of his old friends have also passed on.
Peace, blessings and continuous healing, Honey
My condolences Mama Jan. Mr Alonzo will be missed at Embassy City. I'm so sorry. I love you Mama Jan 💛 Shanell

Janet sometimes it can be so hard to find the right words to express what our hearts are truly feeling that can sooth your pain right now.
Although you are one of the strongest, caring and most compationate women that I know; just remember that you do not have to carry such a heavy burden alone. Feel what you're feeling and know that your family and friends will be there for you during this time and beyond.
Our prayers and sincerest condolences are going out to yours and all of the Harris family for strength to carry you through.
Love from Telesa Bankston and family.
Hey Pop, miss greeting you pulling up to Embassy and stepping out as one of the cleanest men in Georgia! Believe it or not I learned a lot while driving you and Mama Harris back and forth from the airport. While you weren't a man of many words, you spoke volumes by how you held it down! Thank you for all you contributed to us sir. Forever missed and truly appreciated. Love you Ppp!
Jan, Just want to say that my prayers and love are with you and the family and what a blessing to have shared such an amazing love with such an awesome man! I'm praying for God's continued comfort through this time and beyond. I love you dearly you're friend forever, Dr. Conte Terrell, Houston Tx!
Seldom are friendships/relationships instant, on rare occasion your interaction becomes permanent. Lonzo was this privilege for me, entertaining-engaging-respectful and experienced. Truly a Man of Distinction, Farewell Brother Hope We Meet Again. FOREVER MIKE
From Lessie Berry and Family. Please continue to pray for our family. My daughter Janet had the sweetest husband Alonzo and we are going to miss him very much.
A prayer for our cousin Alonzo Oh Lord, it is always so hard to say good-bye to those that we love and care about, especially when we were close and the memories, we shared in the Harris Household. We know that we are going to miss our cousin, Alonzo, so much, and so will the rest of the family. And so, Lord, we pray that You would give each one of us Your comfort in our hearts at this time of such sadness. Lord, we know that death is a thin veil of temporary separation for those that love You, and we thank and praise You that as Your children we will meet up again one day, but it is still hard to have to realize that we will never be together in this life again, so please flood all of our hearts with Your never-failing comfort and give us Your strength to move forward, knowing that You feel deeply for our loss and that You care for each one of us. Thank You for the good times that we spent together and help us to celebrate a lovely life rather than mourn a life that has passed. Help us to give You thanks for the great love we shared. Thank You for the life of our cousin and we pray that You will put Your loving arms of comfort around us all and draw every member of our wider family into a closer walk with You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

In loving memory of a very special husband. My Alonzo, when God was making husbands as far as I can see, he made a special soulmate , especially for me. He made a perfect gentleman, compassionate and kind, with more love and affection than you could ever wish to find. He gave my darling husband a heart of solid gold, only my heart can hold, he was someone I could talk to that no one can replace. He was someone I could laugh with till tears ran down my face. The next time we meet will be at heaven's door, when I see you standing there I won't cry anymore. I will put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face, then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place. I miss you so much. Love Jan!
With heartfelt sympathy. Look ever to Jesus, you will find solace there. Pat Mayo and Family.

Our "DAD" will forever be in our hearts ❤️
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, But remember Our "DAD" in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smile, Our "DAD" only gone to rest a while.
Although his leaving caused pain and grief, Our "DAD's" going has eased his hurt and gives him relief.
So, dry your eyes and remember Our "DAD" not as he is now but as he used to be.
Our "DAD" will remember you all and look on with a smile, understand in your hearts he's only gone to rest a while.
As long as Our "DAD" has the love of each of you Our "DAD" can live his life in the hearts of all of you.
We Love You DADDY ❤️ Rest in Pease😘, La Shawn, Sean, Kanika and Alonzaa

Jan, or as I have called you for our entire friendship (Mama Jan) which is how our beloved Papa earned his name "Papa Lonzo" The words to describe your and Papa's love and dedication to ALL you have touched are many. You have taken care of us all for as long as I can remember and you took care of Papa with the same passion and determination. Well done, my friend, Well done. We will miss Papa Lonzo, but no where as near as you will. We (I) am here for you in ANYWAY you need me, now and forever more. Rest on Papa, you were the most smooth, kindest, loving man I have ever met and you took good care of my friend, you loved her with everything you had. Take your rest....we got your Jan. With all my heart, Annette (Nette-Nette)
