Anna May Green, age 73, was born to Roy and Willa Mae Green on November 1, 1949 at General Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Anna May Green had four sisters Donzella" Jill" Green, Jacqueline Susan Jackson Mary Ellen Green-Holman, two brothers Charles Howard and James Michael Howard. She attended Indianapolis public school #56 for her elementary education. She would later attended Shortridge High School for her secondary educatiecon were she graduated.She atteded IVY Tech Community College for a short period.

Anna Green was proceded in death by her husband Dwit Banks. She shared a daughter with her highschool sweetheart Dwight Haynes, by name of Annissa Haynes Roberts. Anna Green was hired at a insurance firm were she worked for a number of years.In 1977 she move to Detroit, Michigan to work for WGPR, TV-62, FM 107.5 the first Black owned and operated station.She was hired as an Acccount Executive, leader in the sales department, solicitng National and Local advertising commercial accounts for both radio and television station. While at WGPR she was appointed, to the Operations Committee her positon was to report the current activities of the news which aired on Channel TV- 62. Anna Green, also trained in other departments such as the film department editing televison. Anna Green was also member of the planning committee responsible for organizing a Picnic for the City of Detroit with free food, prizes, and give-aways. This event was so successful with and attendance of 80, 000 people including celebrities such as Sheila -E, Morris Day, Vanity 6, Whispers just to name a few. Her national accounts were Johnson Products, Ultra Sheen products and Coca Cola. Her local acccounts were the The Broadway Men's Apparel, City Slicker Shoes, Ciao- Women's Apparel. She retired in 1986 due to illness. Annissa Roberts moved Anna Green to Atlanta, Georgia in order to help take care of her during her sickness.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Willa Mae Green, James Michael Howard,Donzella "Jill" Green, Mary Ellen Green-Holman. She was baptized at Eastside Baptist Church. She had many intrests ; spending quality time with famliy, reading, cooking, shopping and she loved, loved her old school music especially the Dramatics and Whispers along with hip hop music artists Tupac and Jay Z.

Anna May Green departed this life on March 21, 2023 at the age of 73. She leaves to cherish her memory her only child Annissa Haynes Roberts. Nepews Darren, and Charles Howard, Kevin, Aaron, Justin, Gary Holman. Nieces Nickole Green, Ericka Holman along with great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives.
