Dearest Edie and Cookie,

​My heart is heavy with the news of Kirky's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that my heartfelt prayers are with you both, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap His arms around you and provide the comfort and strength that only He can give during this time of grief.

​Having known your family for decades, I find myself looking back on the days when we all grew up together in New Jersey. I have such fond, vivid memories of Kirky as a little boy, full of life and playing in the playgrounds with my brother, Eugene. I can still see us—me and Edie—waiting for those street lights to flicker on, knowing it was time to go out and find our brothers so we could escort them home safely.

​Those were special times when everyone truly looked out for one another, and that sense of community and love is something I will always cherish. Kirky was a part of that fabric, and he will be deeply missed.

​May God comfort you and give you both the peace and resilience to get through these difficult days. Lean on the beautiful memories you have, and know that you are in my constant thoughts and prayers.
