THE LIFE & LEGACY
Helen aka "Helena" was born on December 28, 1941, on Atlanta Avenue, Decatur, GA. She was the daughter of the late Anna L. Daniel (White) and Willie White Sr. (Gee). She was the 2nd child of this union and the third child of Anna and second of Willie Sr. She had three brothers, who preceded her in death: James E. White (Robbie), John O. White (Bernice) and Willie White Sr. Also, one stepfather, Willie Wooden. Helen attended Herring Street and Trinity High School in Decatur and graduated in 1960. She graduated from Atlanta Business College and later attended DeKalb College with her youngest brother Willie White Jr, (who preceded her in death, 1973).
Helen was a steward in service to God from an early age at Thankful Baptist Church, where she song in the A & C choir and she taught Sunday School. She loved teaching others about God and would witness to others at any time. At her time of passing, she was a member of *Mattie R. Griffin Stewardess Board" and Seniors of St. Phillips A.M.E. Church (Decatur, GA).
Helen worked and retired from the Presbyterian Church Organization, Rich's, Macy's. and JC Penney. She was awarded in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta by JC Penney Corporation for being one of the highest-ranking custom draperies salespersons
She leaves to mourn, her husband, General Lee Webb, step-daughter, Vanessa Webb, and two siblings, Frank Daniel and Constance Wooden-Smith (Ray Smith); Sister-in Laws: Robbie White and Joann Daniel, Josephine Richardson, and Mary L. Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins
Her charity and love will always be remembered by her family and friends who lives she touched in caring and supportive ways.
