On behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration, Southern Region, we send our deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Linda Chatman. She was a pillar within the agency and loved by so many.
To know Linda Chatman is to love her. We both worked at the FAA & our paths crossed often. Linda always greeted me with a big smile and kind words. She never complained and if you didn't know about her health struggles, you would never be able to tell anything was going on with her. Sweet, kind and sharp as a tack, always! Such a sweet spirit that will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched. Fly High my friend. ❤️ Teresa G. Burkett - Retired FAA
All over the world there are people, very special people like you who make life so meaningful and worthwhile, people who are always there when needed, people who will always be special in our hearts, but there's only one Linda, my very special friend. May God bless and keep you and your family. Many thanks for everything and for being my friend. May God create many more special people like you. I will always remember you and our friendship. Love You, Iris J Graham, FAA, Security Division, Atlanta, GA. R.I.P.
Ms. Linda has one of the sweetest spirits that I have ever encountered. She was always positive, and full of joy. Ms.Lina could tell you a story about something that has happened with her and make it such a happy story, even when you know the story shouldn't have a happy ending. But that was Ms. Linda, always seeing the happy in every situation. Ms.Linda will truly be missed. Take your rest my friend your work here on this earth is done.
Heartfelt condolences to all who are connected to our friend and colleague, Linda. May God's Peace and Comfort envelope each of you as you mourn the loss. Linda was a dedicated public servant of the Federal Aviation Administration. We who were privileged to work alongside her will never forget how valued she made us feel.
