May God bless her husband, Brother George and her family. Joyce and I work many summer camps together at New Piney Grove and New Life. She was my assistant director. She was truly a God sent person every since I have known her. She loved children and dedicated her life working with them. Joyce will be truly missed by her family and friends. Many prayers and blessings to her family.
Minister Joyce George was and will be inspirational to me. Joyce words of comfort inspired me through my parents death. I talked with Joyce quite frequently during her illness. Ms. Tucker and I will miss our conversations. You were a powerful voice in our lives. God has an angel with a purpose. I'm heartbroken, but I know you are at peace with our Lord.
May you rest in peace in the arms of God.Much love from Mrs George co worker at E. L.Bouie Theme School.Alma T.Gammage

Joyce and I have been friends since high school. We graduated together and attended college together at Alabama State University. We lost touch with each other but we recently reconnected and it was like we never lost touch. I'm happy that we had a chance to connect again. I'll always cherish our friendship.
Joyce was such a sweet person. She really enjoyed working with the students attending Bouie Theme School. She had a special God given talent and used her talents and spiritual gifts to serve God. I remember serving as an Usher at her wedding and what a joyous celebration. Forever in our hearts. May your memories bring you comfort. Ruth Banks, former Bouie Theme School employee.
