I didn't know Mr. Gresham (aka Lil' Willie) well, but he was a very dear friend of my uncle, Claude Black. They were childhood homeboys from the Edgewood community who grew up playing basketball & football together. My uncle always (and still) had kind things to say about Mr. Gresham. I was blessed to meet him a handful of times and knew him to have a reserved, gentle spirit. On behalf of my uncle and the Edgewood crew, I send my condolences to the family. And pray that the fond memories will live on.
