Carla Renee Carson was born on July 20, 1968, to the late David (Jim) Carson and Dorothy Carson Wesley. She departed this life on August 8, 2023
Carla graduated from East Rutherford High School in 1986. She was employed by Sonoco Crellin Inc. for thirty years, until her health started to decline. She was employed by Master Craft at the beginning of her career. During her time of employment, she always kept a part time job. Sammy’s Supermarket and the Drop In Stores were two of her favorites. She loved her jobs because she loved meeting and talking to people.
She was preceded in death by her father; David (Jim) Carson, one brother; James Otis Carson, her grandparents; eight uncles and seven aunts. Carla loved her family and friends dearly.
Carla leaves to cherish her fond memories; one son, Shavon Jackson of the home, her mother; Dorothy Carson Wesley (Freddy) of Bostic, NC, her brothers; Anthony Carson (Vanessa) of Marion, NC, Timothy Carson (Ursula) of Rutherfordton, NC, foster grandson; Christen Hudson,one stepbrother; Ahmad Wesley, one stepsister; Monique Wesley, her sister in law; Sandra Minor, six nieces; Ebony (Adrianna), Christen, Taylor, Laneka, Chasmin and Shayla, four nephews; Marcus, Christopher (Whitley), Chris and Brian, six great nephews and five great nieces, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

I was sorry to hear that Carla had passed we met at Sammy's and she was always so nice to me and we often talked about WW... Her mom was always bringing her some good food!!! Love and prayers for her mom and all of her family and friends !!!
