Obituary For Laura Belle Logan

Laura Belle Logan was born in Rutherford County on January 29, 1921, to the late Lois Lynch and the late Georgia Laus. She departed this life on January 6, 2024. She was blessed to live to see one hundred and two years.

She was a lifetime member of MT. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Laura began work at an early age. She worked for over forty years at the Chalet Club in Lake Lure, NC. For a short period of time, she was employed by Fairfield Resort. She also worked with the family business (Logan’s Restaurant).

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; Lois Lynch and Georgia Laus, husband; Lester George Logan, three brothers; Burch, Clifton and James, five sisters; Johnnie, Willie, Gladys, Eunice, and her twin, Sue Belle, along with triplets that died at birth.

Laura leaves to cherish fond memories four children; Betty J. Brooke (Milton), Raymond Hasan (Paulette), Dwight S. Logan (Dianne) and Ronald L. Logan (Gwendolyn) all of Lake Lure, NC, nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren, one brother; Alfred Lee Lynch of Ellenboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
