Mrs. Sandra Camp Washington gained her wings with her loving husband by her side on December 12, 2022, at 618 Fairview Ave. Woodruff, SC. Sandra was born on May 16, 1965, in Rutherfordton, NC to the late Charles F. Camp and Pauline S. Camp. Sandra was preceded in death by two sisters, Elder Gloria Robinson and Francene Camp, two brothers, Joe William Camp and Rickey Camp, one granddaughter, Jaiyda Kassedi Davis. Sandra was a 1983 graduate of Chase High School of Forest City, NC, after graduating high school she attended Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC. She enjoyed being a Color Guard in the band. After college she was employed by Cone Jacquards of Cliffside, NC as a supervisor for several years until the plant closed. She was also employed by Lear Corporation of Duncan, SC as a Quality Technician for twenty plus years. She was full of life, and she enjoyed having fun. There was never a dull moment when she was around. Sandra enjoyed taking vacations with her family and friends. She loved reading a good book, her favorite book was the color purple which later became a movie. Sandra was very serious about physical fitness. She worked out every day, she loved her family and would do any and everything for her sons and grandson. She leaves to cherish very special memories, her husband, Samuel Marion Washington Jr., of the home, two sons, Samuel Princeton Davis and Steadman Davis of Henrietta, NC, step children, Tenika Pompey (Julian) of Shelby, NC, Stephanie Washington of Sierra Vista, Arizona, seven grandchildren, Jaiyceon Princeton Davis, Jakorian Amari Davis, Steadman Izayah Davis, SaDonte Hunt of El Paso, TX, Stacyohnna Anderson of El Paso, TX, My’Son Anderson of El Paso, TX, Temprance Robbs of Shelby, NC, Eight sisters, Cynthia Love of Henrietta, NC Jennifer Greene (Donald) of Forest City, NC, Charlene Surratt of Shelby, NC, Brenda Davis (Elmer) of Forest City, NC, Vickey Logan (Randy) of Wilson, NC, Annie Rogers (Dane) of Shelby, NC, Victoria Reid (Kirkland) of Henrietta, NC, Leslie Twitty (DeLewis) of Polk County, NC, one brother, Arthur Camp (aka) Bruh-Bruh of Henrietta, NC, one brother in law, Harold Washington (Joyce) of Charlotte, NC, one godson, Dane Rogers Jr., five god daughters, Hannah McDowell, Porscha Forney (aka) little sister, Shanice Goode, Chasity Freeman, Glorielle Camp and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
