Za’Nae Lashell Carson aka (Nae Nae) was born on September 14, 2022, at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC to Zareeha Carson. She departed this life on November 18, 2023.

Za’Nae touched so many people with her story. She started her fight in the womb, being diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, but that didn’t stop her. She came out fighting and she fought until she took her last breath. Nae Nae had the most beautiful smile, brightest spirit and touched everyone’s heart she came in contact with. To know her story and see her living every day like nothing had ever happened to her, then you would know why everyone was so amazed by her. Every doctor’s visit they would always say “we’re so proud of this little fighter right here.” She touched a lot of lives in so many ways. That beautiful smile will always be missed. Fly high baby girl.

Za’Nae is preceded in death by her auntie, Abrianna Lashell Godfrey.
