The Management and Staff of United Funeral Home LLC of Loris announces the passing of Ms. Patricia Ann Barnes of Loris, SC. who passed away on May 30, 2026, at McLeod Seacoast after an extended illness.

Born on January 10, 1954, Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and ability to get along with everyone she met. Patricia never met a stranger and always had a warm conversation and a welcoming smile to share. Patricia graduated from Southeast Guilford High School in 1972. Patricia worked in her mother’s upholstery shop, where she learned to sew. Patricia worked at Serta Mattress as a sewer and wrangler as a seamstress.

Patricia found great joy in crocheting and spent countless hours creating beautiful blankets and purses for family and friends. Her handmade gifts were expressions of her love and generosity and will be treasured for years to come. She also loved to play the piano.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Harris, (Ronald Harris),and Linda Lane (Richard Lane); her grandchildren, Charles Daniel Seger (Jessica Seger), Rebecca Ann Seger (Joshua Lane), and Mark Allen Hartman; and her great-grandchildren, Nora Grace Seger, Alanya Rose Lane, and Jiraiya Elias Alan Lane.

Patricia’s love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
