Obituary For Billy A. Washington

Billy A. Washington, 63, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 5, 2026. Born on December 31, 1963, in Knoxville TN. Billy was a God-fearing man who attended Washington Pike United Methodist Church and prayed over his loved ones daily. He could light up any room with his bubbly personality.

He was a family-oriented man who was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He cared deeply for the people around him and was always there for them. Bill enjoyed cooking both professionally and at home. He graduated from Austin East High School with the Class of 1982 and was a big football fan.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Tegwin “Frosty” Washington; and mothers, Margaret Hartsell, and Maude Houseal.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Markesha Smith; grandchildren, Kendalyn, Kasaria, Brylin, Karrington, Kamyra, Calvin Jr, and Daveion; great-granddaughter, Kylinn; Devoted Sister, Dorothy Williams (Ed), Regina Davis, and Beverly Houseal; Devoted Niece, Angel Collins (Al), Triece, and Wahketta; Devoted Nephew, Robert Jr, Zion, Lil Ed, Xzavier, and Maurice; Bonus Nephew, Siah; Special Friends, Rose, Miami, Ron, James, Travis, Cookie and Brandie; and many other loved ones too numerous to name.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 2-2:30p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Washington Pike United Methodist Church; 2241 Washington Pike, Knoxville, TN 37917 where Pastor Jennifer Spieth will be officiating.
