Christine Yvette “Tina” Brabson was born on August 31, 1957. She was a proud graduate of Carter High School class of 1975,
For 34 years, Christine was a pillar of support and care at Helen Ross McNabb (formerly Child and Family Services of Tennessee). Her true passion in life was caring for the babies within the organization. She poured her heart into her work, serving as a dedicated protector and nurturing presence for the most vulnerable. Christine was a genuinely selfless and strong woman who left an undeniable, positive mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. To know her was to feel loved.
Above all her professional accomplishments, Christine’s greatest joy was her family. She shared an incredibly close, deep bond with all of her children and grandchildren. She loved them fiercely, and her warmth will live on through them forever.
Christine departed this life on September 22, 2026 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. leaving behind a profound legacy of love, selflessness, and dedication.. She was preceded in death by her parents, Haskel & Betty Brabson; and her siblings: Ronald Brabson, Florence Cline, and Freddie Keith.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Lawrence Francis (granddaughter Jewels); her daughters: Anitra Brabson (grandchildren Quay and Johne), Fleeta Francis (grandchildren JaMya, Trinity, Malaya, and Kamari), and Ericka Francis (grandchildren Keithy, Paris, and Monae); great-grandson Mason; sisters: Rowena Cody and Debra Cook; best friend of 35 years, Sheena Curly; many loving relatives, including her cousins and dearest friends Monnie Flack and Priscilla Brabson-Scales.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 1-2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
