David James Everett
David James Everett, 66, passed away February 9, 2026 at his home. David was a devoted law enforcement officer who served our community with passion and integrity. He was a loving man and father who always put his family first. His kindness, strength, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a profound void in our lives.
He is proceeded in death by his parents David Robert Everett and Jane Everett McGee. He is survived by wife Teresa C. Everett, sister Barbi Everett Mealey, sons Brandon Everett and Roger Overton Jr., daughter's Andrea Everett, Shannon Overton, and Ashley Tomlinson. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 2-5:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel.
