It's been a year, and I still check to see if you're really still not here. I just keep hoping I will search for you and you will be overseas living another life. I miss you so much, Diego. You were so so loved, and you will never be forgotten. Your friends and I still talk about you. Hell, you're the topic of our conversations. We all miss you so much and wish we could have just half a second to hug or hear your laugh a last time. I miss your goofy unapologetic laugh. Just know we miss you and love you, Diego.
