Obituary For Glenda Jewel Hodge
Glenda Jewel Hodge, 77 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on August 26, 2026. She leaves behind her daughter, Denise, Son, DaJuan (Kristi); other relatives and many friends On Thursday, September 10, 2026 the receiving of friends will be held at Unity Mortuary, 1425 McCalla Ave., Knoxville from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 12:00 p.m. Glenda will be laid to rest at East TN State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville. Flowers are welcomed at Unity Mortuary. A dove release will conclude in her honor.

My dear friend Glenda...words cannot express how I feel upon hearing of your passing. Since knowing you upon moving here in 82 you were always like another big sister. And over the years I am glad you met my Sisters when they visited me in TN and when you traveled with me to VA and we all became Family. Since meeting you in the early 80s until relocating back to VA you and your family became like mine and your many trips with me to VA you became part of my family.
