Ida Miles
Ida was born on November 2, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan to Johnny and Roby Miles. She graduated from Rule High in Knoxville, Tennessee. She started her own transportation business called “Kid Trans” for children. She married the love of her life Lee Huffine.
Ida was a dedicated loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousins, and best friend. To know her was to love her. She had a smile that would brighten any room.
She loved gatherings with family and friends, fishing, playing cards, and having fun. A dedicated and devoted UT Volunteer fan, Ida would let you know when she had enough. Always giving a listening ear and would tell her she didn’t want to hear it. Ida was a real one!!!
She was your Knoxville Connection. If there was a need to know, she knew how to get it done.
Ida departed this life on June 5, 2025, at UT Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jakia Miles; parents: Johnny and Ruby Miles; brothers: Johnny Miles II and Derick Miles; and her niece, Dalena Carter.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lee Huffine; son, Lee Huffine, Jr.; daughter, Kaleeshia Huffine; grandchildren: Efrem Miles, Jazivhh Miles, Leevah Huffine, and Christiana Miles; her in-laws: Authur Huffine, Rose Bowden, Shirley Huffine, and Standley Huffine; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to name.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12-1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Ron Butler officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Unity Mortuary. www.unitymortuary1979.com
I remember when you all came down from Detroit to visit and how excited you were to see hills. you had us running up and down them all day long. When the doctors said there wasn't anything else they could do. I whisper in your ears " go and run up and down the Heavenly hills." i know you doing that and laughing . rest cousin
